Automotive construction on his own

STERN released the title "Handmade dream car" in February 2005, referring to the "purest sports car" KUREK GT7, which was developed and built by Heinz Kurek, father of AMC founder Rainer Kurek. "Since Kurek owned a VW Beetle as a student, he wanted to build a light, fast and yet economical perfect sports car, and you couldn't buy one like that anywhere", adds STERN.

The compact, two-seater sports car weighs no more than 800 kg, hits more than 270 km / h and consumes just 8 liters per 100 km on average - lightweight construction in its purest form.
