Under the title "Sustainable ultra-lightweight construction - our responsibility after Corona", we are once again organising a LEICHTBAU SYMPOSIUM on 09 September 2021. At the Dominikaner Winery in Kasel near Trier, extremely renowned lightweight construction experts from the German-speaking world will once again have their say, including Hyundai Urban Air Mobility expert Jannis Töpfer, AIRBUS manager Peter Pirklbauer and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Markus Milwich from the DITF, and will discuss the latest lightweight construction trends.

Lightweight construction is a "game changer technology" and is one of the key technologies of the 21st century. And so AMC has been working intensively on top lightweight construction technologies in recent months and has produced a study: "COMPOSITES IN 3D - HOW SAFE TO THE FUTURE?" will be presented to the public for the first time as part of the LEICHTBAU SYMPOSIUM. "The study is about the six hightest-end technologies," says Kurek, "and which industries and components they are interesting for."

Kurek touches on some of the findings: "Closed digital process chains are gaining importance to avoid cost-intensive testing." The market study is "very clear" about potentials, strengths and weaknesses, Kurek promises - more will be revealed about the results at the symposium.

The number of participants on site is limited - but there is also the chance to be there online: to register - Word-document and to the programme PDF
